I went to Rochester, MN with Cindy yesterday. We did the usual antique shopping on the way down. I bought this for Brenda for $1. Bwa, she collects “state plates” for some reason. Anyway, hope she likes it.

I got laid off from my job today. Sigh. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.

The Magic Bus

I hate it when I don’t have anything funny to talk about but I’m going to post this anyway. Ha! A few years ago when I was working downtown I had a whole busload of people to scoff at and look down my nose at, but not this year.  We had Stinky Cigarette Lady who stunk up the whole bus, Mushroom Hair Cut Lady whose white hair was cut in such a way that it looked just like; you guessed it, a white button mushroom. Dawn's bookshelf: read

The Liar
3 of 5 stars
I so wanted to like this book. I'm not sure that I did. However, I learned a plethora of new, sophisticated British words. Perhaps I missed the point, well...no I didn't, it just took too many words to get there.
The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer From the People Who've Lived the Longest
2 of 5 stars
Meh.
Eat more veggies + drink more water + exercise more = longer life.
The End.
Blood Rites

Dresden is always a good read.
The Girl Who Chased the Moon
3 of 5 stars
Not sure why I read this. Meh.
